The announced areas include solar power, battery storage, electricity transmission, seawater desalination and green hydrogen. The release provides a cooperation framework. Project locations, procurement dates and construction awards remain to be established for individual opportunities.

Why it matters. The agreement covers infrastructure packages with different grid, water and process interfaces. Contractors and suppliers will need the scope and procurement information for specific projects before they can assess what work may come to market. DEWA announcement, 1 November
